Announcing the 2025 Conference Theme: Blueprint for the Future

We are thrilled to unveil the theme for the 2025 Wisconsin Lodging Conference & Trade Show: "Blueprint for the Future: Adapting, Building, Thriving." This theme encapsulates the spirit of growth and resilience that defines Wisconsin’s lodging industry.

​It covers everything from navigating ongoing changes to strengthening our teams, enhancing our properties, and crafting innovative guest experiences. Our goal is to provide attendees with valuable insights and tools to not only survive but thrive in 2025 and beyond.
 
This theme will serve as the foundation of this year’s conference, scheduled to take place at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells from November 2 to 4. Every aspect of the event, from breakout sessions to branding, will be designed to reflect our vision for the future of Wisconsin hospitality.

Theme Development

The 2025 theme and visual identity were crafted by the WHLA Education/Conference Committee, a passionate group of volunteer leaders from across the state’s hospitality sector. Under the guidance of 2025 Committee Chair Sara Abbott, along with support from WHLA staff liaison and Vice President Monica Goeke, CAE, the committee meticulously examined industry trends, gathered feedback from past attendees, and explored event design ideas before finalizing this year’s theme. The custom logo and mood board, created by WHLA’s Senior Designer Lexie Mallary, visually reinforce the conference’s forward-thinking approach and connect seamlessly with various elements such as signage, session tracks, and social media branding.

About the Event

The Wisconsin Lodging Conference & Trade Show is the premier lodging-specific event in the state, attracting hundreds of attendees from hotels, resorts, and related businesses. Participants include hotel owners, general managers, frontline staff, sales and marketing professionals, vendors, hospitality students, professors, and DMO leaders—all coming together to learn, network, and celebrate the excellence of Wisconsin hospitality.
 
The conference will kick off Sunday evening with an opening reception, followed by two full days filled with inspiration, education, and connection. Attendees can look forward to:
