Capitol Leaders Join WHLA Action Day 2026 in Madison

The excitement for WHLA Action Day 2026 is building!  On January 21, hotel and lodging professionals from across Wisconsin will gather at the Best Western Premier Park Hotel in Madison for a full day dedicated to advocacy, networking, and learning.

​We are thrilled to welcome Representative Robin Vos, Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly, and Representative Greta Neubauer, Minority Leader of the Wisconsin State Assembly, as featured speakers. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear directly from these influential state leaders and engage in candid conversations about issues shaping Wisconsin’s lodging industry.

The day begins with the WWIL Breakfast, where attendees can network with peers and join a candid discussion with Senate President Mary Felzkowski and Senate Minority Leader Dianne H. Hesselbein. This session is designed to share insights on authentic collaboration, navigating the Capitol, and strategies for amplifying your voice in advocacy efforts. It’s the perfect way to start the day energized, informed, and connected.

WHLA Action Day

After breakfast, we kick off the Action Day program! This exciting event features morning programming, an advocacy luncheon, and pre-scheduled meetings with elected officials and their teams. Participants will gain valuable insights into WHLA’s legislative priorities and will have the opportunity to voice their perspectives at the Capitol.

The day concludes with the Lodging Innsights Reception & Dinner, including a fireside chat with Rosanna Maietta (AHLA) and Stephen Beaumont (Kohler Co.), offering attendees another opportunity to network and learn from industry leaders.
