Celebrating Excellence: Elvira Alvarez of Fairfield Inn & Suites Pleasant Prairie Honored with WHLA’s 2025 Spirit of Hospitality Award

The Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association (WHLA) proudly recognizes Elvira Alvarez, Assistant General Manager at Fairfield Inn & Suites Pleasant Prairie, as one of the 2025 Spirit of Hospitality Award recipients.

Elvira has become a cornerstone of her property’s success through her unwavering positivity and commitment to guest satisfaction. Known for her uplifting energy and hands-on leadership, she fosters a culture of appreciation, respect, and teamwork that motivates those around her and enhances every guest experience.

“Elvira’s journey is inspiring — she began as a night auditor and, through her reliability and natural leadership, was promoted to Assistant General Manager last year,” said Amy Boston, who presented the award on behalf of WHLA during the 2025 WHLA Awards Luncheon on September 11 at Hotel Retlaw in Fond du Lac. “In this role, she has mentored team members, taken on challenges with determination, and consistently delivered excellent guest service.”

As a Spirit of Hospitality Award recipient, Elvira was recognized in front of industry peers for her outstanding service and dedication to Wisconsin’s lodging community.
