Jason began his journey at Parkwood Lodge in 1998 as a front desk associate and has since grown with the property through multiple ownership changes, becoming Director of Operations in 2024. His leadership, dedication, and genuine care for both guests and team members exemplify Wisconsin’s hospitality at its best.
“Jason’s dedication, leadership, and passion for hospitality make him a truly deserving recipient of the WHLA Spirit of Hospitality Award,” said Amy Boston, who presented the award on behalf of WHLA during the 2025 WHLA Awards Luncheon on September 11 at Hotel Retlaw in Fond du Lac. As a Spirit of Hospitality Award recipient, Jason joins an elite group of front-line professionals recognized for going above and beyond to deliver exceptional guest experiences. “Spirit of Hospitality Award recipients are the heart of our industry,” said Bill Elliott, CAE, WHLA President & CEO. “Their dedication and passion elevate Wisconsin’s reputation as a warm and welcoming destination.” The Spirit of Hospitality Awards are part of WHLA’s Stars of the Industry program, which celebrates individuals and properties that define excellence in Wisconsin’s lodging industry.
