At A Glance: Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel & Conference Center

  • Location: Neenah, WI
  • Project Summary: Restaurant addition, guest room tower construction, aquatic area and lobby renovations
  • Completion Date: March 10, 2025

A Premier Destination, Reimagined

Set against a peaceful backdrop in Neenah, the Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel & Conference Center has long served as a favorite for families, business travelers, and event planners in East Central Wisconsin. In early 2025, the resort completed an expansive renovation that touched nearly every area of the property—adding capacity, refreshing key amenities, and elevating the overall guest experience.

From new guestrooms and upgraded aquatic spaces to revitalized common areas and expanded dining options, this multi-faceted transformation positions Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort for the future—while continuing to deliver the high-touch hospitality that guests have come to expect.
At the heart of the project was the construction of the Bridgewood North Tower, a newly built wing that added 39 modern guest rooms, a fitness center featuring a Peloton bike, and a flexible meeting room for up to 40 attendees.

Growing to Meet Guest Demand

At the heart of the project was the construction of the Bridgewood North Tower, a newly built wing that added 39 modern guest rooms, a fitness center featuring a Peloton bike, and a flexible meeting room for up to 40 attendees. This expansion brings the resort’s total room count to 133 and provides additional lodging options for large-scale events and growing tourism traffic.

Elsewhere on the property, the hotel lobby and hallways were fully renovated, now featuring open common areas, updated seating, and business workstations with internet and printing access—supporting both productivity and relaxation for all types of travelers.

Nearby, the Aquatic Fun Center was fully resurfaced and refreshed. Updates included renovations to the poolside mezzanine and the addition of an arcade featuring 25+ games, creating new recreation opportunities for families and groups alike.

Dining, Recreation & Event Enhancements

Guests can now enjoy more space and flexibility in the newly enhanced Batley’s Grill & Bar, where a 375-square-foot expansion introduced a semi-private lounge area called The End Zone. This complements BWP Bridgewood Resort’s well-loved dining venues and outdoor entertainment spaces—including fire pits, yard games, and riverfront seating.

On the events side, the resort’s 11,000 square feet of meeting space remains a top draw for weddings, conferences, and celebrations. Renovated facilities such as the Marquette Ballroom, Wisconsin Room, and Garden Terrace continue to host gatherings of all sizes, made even more functional by the resort’s expanded accommodations and amenities.
The pool mezzanine was also reimagined to include new seating areas and a renovated arcade with over 25 games, providing new entertainment options for families and groups.

A Winter Timeline & Logistical Challenge

Like many renovations in hospitality, the timing of the project presented unique challenges. The work was strategically completed during the winter months to minimize disruption—but cold weather, tight schedules, and material coordination required extra effort from the resort’s internal teams.

“We’ve done numerous renovation projects over the years, but handling the installation of all FF&E items ourselves for the Bridgewood North Tower addition was a new challenge,” said Ryan Batley, General Manager. “It took significant effort from our dedicated engineering and housekeeping teams, along with specialized equipment for unloading, assembling, and disposing of packaging materials—especially during negative twenty-degree weather.”

Focused Phasing and Guest Communication

The renovation was conducted in phases to ensure guest comfort and uninterrupted operations. Strategic signage, extra communication, and a flexible guest services approach helped the team manage guest expectations throughout the process.

“Our front desk team maintained full operations throughout the project,” Batley added. “We went the extra mile to accommodate guests navigating noise, dust, and temporary detours—while still delivering the experience we’re known for.”

Looking Ahead

The resort is not done yet. With 94 guest bathrooms scheduled for remodeling this spring and summer, the investment in guest comfort continues. These improvements, paired with the property’s two pickleball courts, outdoor wedding pergola, on-site mini golf course, and bike rentals, ensure that Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort remains a full-service destination with broad appeal.
