Known for her professionalism, warm greetings, and thoughtful approach to service, Sarai’s flexibility and eagerness to improve make her an outstanding team member. Elvira Alvarez – Fairfield Inn & Suites Pleasant PrairieElvira embodies positivity, leadership, and genuine care for others. Starting as a night auditor and rising to Assistant General Manager, she inspires her colleagues and consistently delivers excellent guest service, fostering a culture of respect and appreciation. Kristina Bailey – Holiday Inn Madison at the American CenterA passionate leader, Kristina stepped up as Acting General Manager during a change of ownership in 2024, ensuring smooth operations and high guest satisfaction. She is known for generosity, sharing her knowledge, and setting a standard of excellence for others in the industry. Orlando Collins – AC Hotel Madison DowntownFor over seven years, Orlando has been a cornerstone of the Maintenance Department. Known for his reliability, quick problem-solving, and professionalism, he ensures guests’ stays are seamless and supports teammates with flexibility and leadership. Dawn Daoust – Gordon LodgeDawn, Executive Assistant for more than 14 years, is the “Gordon Lodge mom,” offering support, solutions, and encouragement to staff. Her kindness and steady leadership create a welcoming environment for both employees and guests. Bennett Johnson – Courtyard Milwaukee DowntownA dedicated kitchen leader, Bennett has maintained perfect attendance since 2021 and consistently elevates the guest experience through creativity, professionalism, and mentorship of his team. Jon Lindenberg – Minnesuing AcresWith over 46 years in hospitality, Jon has been a steady presence, guiding operations and mentoring staff. Though unable to attend the event, he is recognized for his dedication, integrity, and lasting impact. Char Paulbicke – Hampton Inn Milwaukee/BrookfieldChar, a Front Desk Agent, is celebrated for her warmth, dedication, and creativity in delighting guests and mentoring new staff. Her manager, Randy Kliment, accepted the award on her behalf. Jason Porter – Parkwood LodgeJason, Director of Operations, has grown with the property since 1998. He fosters a culture of mentorship, innovation, and team engagement, delivering consistent excellence for both guests and staff. Blake Scheer – Kimpton Journeyman HotelLead Bartender Blake is recognized for his leadership, creativity, and dedication to exceptional hospitality experiences, inspiring his team and elevating the guest experience at The Outsider Bar. Tyler Townsend – Stella Hotel and BallroomTyler, Operations Manager, has held multiple roles across departments and serves as a community leader. His versatility, mentorship, and dedication to his team and guests make him a deserving honoree. Wisconsin Lodging Hall of Fame InductionThe luncheon also celebrated Bob Green as the newest inductee into the Wisconsin Lodging Hall of Fame, presented by WHLA Board Chair Rory Madsen (Gordon Lodge), and accepted by WHLA Past Chair Jon Jossart (Ambassador Hotel). Bob’s decades of leadership, dedication, and impact on the industry set a standard for excellence and service that continues to inspire the Wisconsin hospitality community.
