​The Wisconsin Women in Lodging (WWIL) is excited to announce the search for hosts for two of its signature events in 2025: the “Wisconsin Women in Lodging Retreat” and the "Nine and Wine” - WWIL’s golf and dining event. These gatherings present a fantastic opportunity for hotels to showcase their venues while connecting with influential professionals in the hospitality industry.

Why Host the WWIL Events?

Hosting a WWIL event is not just about providing a venue; it’s about creating an experience that resonates with attendees. Here’s why your hotel should consider stepping up as a host:

1. Wisconsin Women in Lodging Retreat

The Wisconsin Women in Lodging Retreat is a dynamic event designed to empower women in the hospitality industry through networking, professional development, and engaging discussions with industry leaders. Attendees can look forward to a delightful wine dinner followed by a breakfast featuring a guest speaker, providing valuable insights and fostering connections among participants.
  • Format: Dinner with drink pairings, after-dinner reception, and breakfast with a guest speaker.

2. "Nine and Wine" Golf and Dining Event

“Nine and Wine,” WWIL’s golf and dining event, makes golf accessible and enjoyable for both seasoned players and newcomers. Participants can immerse themselves in a relaxed atmosphere that encourages camaraderie and fun. The event features lessons with a pro, a friendly nine-hole golf game, and a delightful dining experience, providing the perfect setting to connect with fellow hospitality professionals while learning the ropes of golf in a supportive environment. 
  • Format: One-hour lesson, nine-hole scramble, awards dinner with drink pairings.
  • Focus: Socializing and building connections in a relaxed setting.

Proposal Submission

If your hotel is interested in hosting one of these exciting events, please note the following important details:

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: January 3, 2025
  • The WWIL Steering Committee will evaluate proposals based on criteria including facility qualifications, creative event concepts, and pricing.
