Meet the Panelists for the 2025 Wisconsin Women in Lodging Breakfast

The Wisconsin Women in Lodging (WWIL) return for the WWIL Breakfast on  Thursday, September 11, from 9:00–11:00 am at the beautiful Hotel Retlaw in Fond du Lac. This year’s program, part of the WHLA September Events, will feature a powerful panel discussion:

​​“Strength Through the Storm: Lessons in Leadership.”

In this inspiring conversation, a panel of accomplished Wisconsin hoteliers will share their stories of career advancement, overcoming challenges, and building the resilience it takes to thrive as leaders in hospitality. Attendees will walk away with practical leadership insights, new perspectives, and renewed motivation to shape the future of our industry.

​We are proud to introduce the featured panelists, who each bring unique experiences and perspectives to the stage:
Kimberly Albert, professional headshot

Kimberly Albert, CHA

Kimberly Albert, CHA, is the Dual Property General Manager for Courtyard and Fairfield Madison East with Aperture Hotels. With more than 25 years of hospitality leadership, she is recognized for her expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and guest service excellence. Known for her servant leadership style, Kimberly is a mentor to the next generation of hospitality leaders. She is active with Wisconsin Women in Lodging and currently serves as Vice President of the Madison Area Hotel & Lodging Association.

Michelle Angell

​Michelle Angell is the General Manager of Hotel Retlaw in Fond du Lac, bringing over 17 years of experience leading properties with brands including Hilton, Wyndham, and Choice Hotels. She began her career opening and operating her first hotel as GM, an experience that shaped her passion for hospitality and team leadership. Since 2021, Michelle has led the historic Hotel Retlaw, blending timeless charm with modern luxury while driving strong results and fostering a people-first culture.

Dana Johnson

​Dana Johnson is the General Manager of Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Known for her strong financial acumen and leadership skills, she has played a pivotal role in the success of Marcus Hotels & Resorts. Before assuming her role at Saint Kate in 2022, Dana served as Executive Director of Sales for Marcus’s Milwaukee properties, where she was recognized for fostering collaboration, innovation, and lasting relationships with guests and teams alike. Dana serves on the Greater Milwaukee Hotel & Lodging Association’s Board of Directors and leads the GMHLA Membership Committee.

Lynn Ketterhagen

​Lynn Ketterhagen is the General Manager of Lake Lawn Resort, one of Southeastern Wisconsin’s premier destinations on the shores of Delavan Lake. A lifelong Walworth County resident with more than 20 years of leadership experience in hospitality and non-profit management, she is dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting her community through tourism and business development. Under her leadership, the resort has completed major renovations, opened its signature restaurant 1878 on the Lake, and strengthened its reputation for outstanding service. Lynn is active with the Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association, Wisconsin Women in Lodging, and AHLA’s General Manager Committee.
​Together, these women exemplify the strength, vision, and determination driving Wisconsin’s lodging industry forward.
