​Registration is officially open for the 2026 Wisconsin Women in Lodging (WWIL) Retreat! Hosted at the Journeyman Hotel by WWIL Steering Committee Chair Katie Neufeld, this retreat brings together women leaders from across Wisconsin’s lodging industry for an inspiring and immersive experience.

A Curated Evening: Dinner & Wine Pairing

Thursday evening kicks off with a multi-course seated dinner, featuring a guided wine pairing led by a Certified Sommelier and Fine Wine Representative from Badger Liquor. The wine-pairing portion of the event is always a hit — it’s not just about enjoying excellent food and wine; it’s about learning, networking, and savoring the experience together. Following dinner, attendees will enjoy evening networking and games, offering a relaxed space to connect and unwind with fellow industry leaders.

Breakfast Workshop

The retreat continues Friday morning with the Breakfast Workshop, titled: “Leading with Presence: Aligning Image, Confidence & Credibility.”

Facilitated by Jennifer Mell, CMP, this interactive session explores how professional image and presence can be powerful tools for confidence, credibility, and authenticity. Participants will:

• Reflect on how their appearance, roles, goals, and personal brand work together
• Learn strategies to show up intentionally in every professional setting
• Walk away with practical tools to apply immediately, no matter their position or career stage

It’s an engaging, hands-on workshop designed to leave attendees inspired and ready to step into leadership with purpose.

Double the Impact: Matched Donations

During the retreat, all donations to support WWIL initiatives will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Krissy Sigmund from Chula Vista, doubling the impact for programs that help women in Wisconsin’s lodging industry advance their careers. Every contribution helps fund scholarships, mentorship opportunities, and leadership development programs — providing tangible support to women across the state.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorships for the retreat are a meaningful way to support emerging leaders while participating in the event. Each sponsorship includes a retreat pass for the sponsor plus 1–3 emerging leader passes, depending on the level. Sponsors may also provide prizes or giveaways, further engaging attendees while helping advance women in Wisconsin lodging.
