The WHLA Awards Luncheon will honor exceptional performance within Wisconsin's hotel and lodging sector. The celebratory ceremony features the presentation of awards that recognize outstanding achievements in various categories, showcasing the exceptional contributions made by individuals to the advancement of the industry. Spirit of Hospitality Awards:
Recognizing lodging employees who exemplify outstanding hospitality. Up to 12 awards will be given, ensuring representation from various property sizes from across Wisconsin.
Hero of Hospitality Award:
This award acknowledges employees who have performed life-saving acts or prevented serious injuries, showcasing the critical role staff play in guest safety.
Wisconsin Lodging Hall of Fame:
This prestigious award honors industry leaders and pioneers who have made significant contributions to Wisconsin's lodging sector. The following individuals will be inducted into the 2024 Wisconsin Lodging Hall of Fame:
Key to Hospitality Legislator Award:
This award will be presented to three elected officials who have made significant contributions to the lodging industry through their support of WHLA legislative efforts.

After the WHLA Awards Luncheon, don't miss the seventh installment of our popular and award-winning live-event series Lodging Innsights. At 2:00 pm, you can take a tour of the historic American Family Field and then join us for two enlightening educational sessions.
During the first session, local leaders will gather to discuss their triumphs and future endeavors in the tourism industry in an enthralling panel discussion titled "Team Effort: Advocating for Tourism." The esteemed panel will dive into exciting topics such as the expansion of the conference center, attracting major events like the RNC to our city, and ensuring the Brewers baseball remains in Milwaukee.
After a brief networking break, we invite you to join us for an enlightening session as we explore the impactful work being done by our team in the community. The session titled "From the Field to the Community: A Conversation with Brewer’s President Rick Schlesinger" will feature a captivating interview conducted by WHLA Board Chair Jay Schumerth.
