Beloved Northwoods resort emerges transformed — custom-milled wood, hand-built American-made furnishings, and a reimagined brand that honors the region’s heritage

​MINOCQUA, Wis. — The Waters of Minocqua, one of Wisconsin’s most celebrated Northwoods resorts, today announced the completion of a sweeping, top-to-bottom renovation of its entire property. The project touches every corner of the resort, from the 106 guest rooms and the grand lobby to the pub & grill, event center, waterpark, coffee shop, and gift shop.

At the heart of the transformation is an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship. Every surface tells a story: custom-milled wood runs floor to ceiling throughout the property, and all new furnishings were hand-built in America — a deliberate choice that reflects both the resort’s deep roots in Wisconsin’s Northwoods and its vision for an elevated guest experience. The exterior log facade has also been re-stained to a rich, darker wood tone, giving the property a dramatic yet timeless curb appeal.

Alongside the physical renovation, The Waters of Minocqua is debuting a fully reimagined brand identity. The new visual system — featuring a refined logo, a Northwoods-inspired color palette of deep forest greens, cool slate blues, and soft cream — positions the resort as a destination where rustic charm meets understated luxury.
