WHLA Members Advocate in D.C. at AHLA’s Hotels on the Hill

This week, WHLA is proud to have a strong delegation representing Wisconsin at American Hotel & Lodging Association’s (AHLA) Hotels on the Hill in Washington, D.C., held May 13–14, 2025.

This premier advocacy event provides hospitality professionals with a valuable platform to meet with members of Congress, discuss pressing industry issues, and learn how to effectively advocate for the future of their businesses and the lodging industry as a whole.

The WHLA coalition includes: Bill Elliott, CAE, Krissy Sigmund, Amy Boston, Dave Sekeres, Abby Sekeres, Adam Dziadosz, Larry Robe, John Chastan, Sara Abbott, Greg Stillman, Don Klain, Brandon M. McConnell, Rory Madsen, Kathi Kilgore, Victor H. Ravago, Alex Gomez, and Frank D'Amato.

While in D.C., WHLA members are meeting with members of Wisconsin’s congressional delegation to share firsthand how legislation impacts our state’s lodging industry. In addition to advocacy meetings, participants are networking with industry leaders from across the country, attending special programming, and strengthening their connection to national hospitality policy.
