Speaking in regard to a production recently filmed in Door County, Elliott said, "I'll tell you that in late April, early May in Door County, we don't fill our hotels. A lot of my members aren't even open at that time of year. That kind of a production coming to Door County filled her hotel, and when you fill a hotel, that means you're sending people to restaurants. It means we're sending people to the local retail stores, to the gas stations, to the bars." He continued, "When we can see an economic impact that fills our rooms, puts butts in seats in our restaurants, it's a win-win for everybody."
