WWIL Mentorship Program Launches Pilot Phase – Sign Up Now!

The Wisconsin Women in Lodging (WWIL) is proud to launch the pilot phase of our new WWIL Mentorship Program, a statewide initiative designed to foster professional growth, leadership development, and peer connection among women in Wisconsin’s lodging industry.

This exciting new program was developed in direct response to requests from WHLA and WWIL members seeking more meaningful ways to connect, learn, and grow within the industry. The WWIL Steering Committee is thoughtfully designing the pilot to meet the needs of women at all stages of their careers. By launching this mentorship effort, we’re fulfilling a real and growing demand for personal and professional support—and building stronger connections across Wisconsin’s lodging community.

Whether you're a rising star looking for insight or a seasoned leader ready to give back, this program is a powerful way to build meaningful relationships and grow together.

The mentorship experience will include one-on-one or small group mentoring, based on shared goals, experience, and areas of interest.

What to Expect Next: Virtual Orientation

After sign-ups close, we’ll bring all pilot participants together for a virtual orientation meeting. This session will serve as an official kickoff, provide helpful context for the program, and allow mentors and mentees to connect with the WWIL Steering Committee and each other. We’ll cover:

• Program goals and expectations
• Best practices for a successful mentoring relationship
• Timeline and communication tips
• Opportunities for ongoing connection and feedback

It’s also a chance to ask questions and get inspired before matches are announced and mentoring begins. We’re excited to launch this journey together as a community.
