About Our Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors is comprised of lodging industry leaders from across the state. These elected individuals operate various types and sizes of properties, bringing their unique perspectives to the association. The Board of Directors meets quarterly to fulfill our mission and to ensure the policies of the organization are meeting the needs of its members.
Get Involved
Board Members are recruited by current WHLA leaders and elected at the WHLA Annual Meeting, as well as throughout the year if vacancies arise. The Nominations Committee recommends candidates to the Board for approval, emphasizing individuals with a combination of industry experience and demonstrated commitment to WHLA. For many directors, the first step to establishing this commitment is by joining Committees or Task Forces.
