Human Trafficking Prevention
WHLA is committed to working with members, state and federal agencies, and other interested parties, to help the hotel and lodging industry combat the practice of human trafficking. By providing resources and training opportunities, our members are equipped to train team members to recognize and report instances of trafficking.
Training Videos
WHLA has partnered with the significant expertise at the state Department of Justice and at the Department of Children & Families in an expanded effort to enable Wisconsin's lodging industry to help to prevent Human Sex Trafficking and to protect our employees and guests from the impact of this horrible crime frequently involving children.
National Lodging Resources
American Hotel and Lodging Association’s (AHLA) No Room for Trafficking campaign builds on long-standing efforts to raise awareness around human trafficking prevention, identify best practices and provide educational resources, and train employees on ways they can play a role in preventing human trafficking.
