Speaker SelectionWHLA’s volunteer lead Education/Conference Committee is responsible for selecting the sessions for the annual Wisconsin Lodging Conference. The selection process follows a review of every proposal submitted. The Education/Conference Committee strives for a diverse and well-balanced conference.

Call for Proposals
We are now accepting speaker proposals for the 2023 Wisconsin Lodging Conference! We are looking for dynamic speakers to share information on topics of interest to hotel and lodging owners and operators. When developing educational sessions at WHLA events, our primary goal is to address the most pressing, current and emerging issues facing Wisconsin hoteliers.

Speaker Expectations
Given WHLA’s tradition of using educational sessions as a platform to showcase thought leaders in the lodging industry, we look for presenters who are willing to share their expertise without the expectation of payment. A modest honoraria is available for keynote speakers. Breakout session presenters must be members in good standing with WHLA.
