Each year, the Spirit of Hospitality Award winners are recognized at the awards luncheon during the Wisconsin Lodging Conference. Event attendees are able to learn about each award winner’s contribution to their property and the industry at large. In addition to special recognition, award winners receive a complimentary pass to the luncheon, a special plaque, and photo opportunities.
Nominations are open for the 2022 Spirit of Hospitality Awards!
Up to 12 Spirit of Hospitality awards are available this year with one award presented to an employee at a property in each category: 1 - 10 rooms; 11 - 50 rooms; 51-500 rooms; 501+.
Any WHLA member may submit a nomination for the Spirit of Hospitality Awards. Past award winners have included hotel and lodging team members employed in housekeeping, reception, operations, food service and other on-premise positions. Eligibility
The Stars of the Industry awards are open to all WHLA members and their employees. Nominees must be employed by a current WHLA member property or company. Only one winner will be selected per property. Past winners are not eligible for repeat awards.
Judging
Nominations are judged and scored in confidence by the WHLA Awards Committee. Deadline for submissions: 9/12/2022. Nominators will be notified of their nominee's status by October 1, 2022.
Save the Date
Spirit of Hospitality award winners will be recognized at the 2022 Wisconsin Lodging Conference during the awards luncheon on November 7 at The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake.
