Announcing New WHLA Board Member - Krissy Sigmund

Brookfield, WI [September 22, 2022] - The Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association (WHLA) announced the appointment of Krissy Sigmund to the association’s board of directors as a Lodging Director to fill a vacancy with the term active through December 31, 2023. The nomination was ratified at a meeting of the board during the WHLA fall meetings at Lake Lawn Resort. 

Sigmund is the Vice President of Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. She is a fourth generation resort owner. Sigmund started working at the family business at the age of 13 in Food & Beverage, Operations Management, Corporate/Meeting Sales, and Revenue Management Sales and Digital Marketing. An active member of the Dells community, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Dells Visitor Bureau and the Adams County Chamber Board of Directors.

“I am excited to be a part of the Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association,” said Sigmund. She continued, “I am looking forward to working with the great hospitality leaders on the Board of Directors.”
