"I was thrilled to learn that I had been selected to be a member of the Wisconsin Lodging Hall of Fame's class of 2023. My career in the lodging industry provided me with exciting challenges, incredible learning opportunities, unparalleled job satisfaction and life-long friendships. I'm truly honored and humbled to receive this award," said Mr. Dove.
“Bob Dove had a storied career in hospitality, and his inspirational leadership served to advance not only the hotels he worked in, but also bolster the greater Wisconsin lodging industry ” said Bill Elliott, President & CEO of the Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association. He continued, “Bob’s service as a longtime WHLA Board member and officer helped to advance the state’s lodging community, and under his leadership our organization transitioned from the Wisconsin Innkeepers Association to the Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association, as we are known today. We’re honored to recognize Bob as a member of the Wisconsin Lodging Hall of Fame.” The Wisconsin Lodging Hall of Fame recognizes industry leaders and pioneers who have contributed significantly to Wisconsin's lodging industry and the Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association.
