Brian Lee recognized by WHLA as the 2023 Associate of the Year

​The Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association (WHLA) has honored Brian Lee, APR, Principal and Owner of Revelation PR, Social Media and Advertising, with its Associate of the Year award for 2023. The award recognizes one professional each year who services the Wisconsin lodging industry in an exemplary manner. The award was presented during a dinner ceremony at the 2023 Wisconsin Lodging Conference on November 6 at the Holiday Inn Stevens Point Convention Center.

Lee is active in the industry both locally with the Greater Madison Area Hotel & Lodging Association and with WHLA. In 2021 he joined the WHLA Board of Directors as an Associate Director, where he continues to serve as a dedicated leader in the lodging industry.

Lee has donated his expertise to help our organization service the lodging properties in the state by counseling WHLA on messaging surrounding sensitive issues. He has also provided media training to WHLA leaders, wrote articles for our publications, presented at conferences, and developed a communications playbook for members. Lee’s expertise guided many hoteliers through the challenges of effective communication during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Brian Lee has been a great leader for Wisconsin’s lodging industry, where he has dedicated his time and talent to our association at both the state and local level,” said Bill Elliott, President & CEO of WHLA. He continued, “Brian has taught lodging properties around the state how to better advance their brand and how to communicate with travelers. Brian’s work has made our entire industry stronger, and there is no one more deserving of our 2023 Associate of the Year Award.”
