Buck Drossart Retires from The Pointe Hotel and Suites on Lake Minocqua

Long-time WHLA leader and Northwoods hotelier Buck Drossart recently retired after 35 years as the General Manager of The Pointe Hotel and Suites on Lake Minocqua. Drossart provided leadership on WHLA’s Board of Directors starting 2002, and served as Board Chair in 2013. He was named WHLA’s Innkeeper of the Year in 2007 and 2014. He received the State Leadership Award in 2013 from American Hotel and Lodging Association.

How wonderful!!! I am happy for you. Think you should know I am still working 3 mornings a week. I just turned 90 but am feeling great and still enjoy what I do.

Buck - thank you for going above and beyond for the state of Wisconsin and its hospitality industry. The Pointe was a favorite stay of mine for decades - because of you and the tremendous team you built. Thank you seems hardly enough. Congratulations, and blessings on your next fabulous chapter.
