Call for 2022 Award Nominations

WHLA is seeking nominations for the 2022 Stars of the Industry Awards!

Help us identify the individuals who have been making a difference in our industry this year by submitting your nominations for our 2022 awards including the Spirit of Hospitality, Associate of the Year, Corporate Champion, Innkeeper and Wisconsin Lodging Hall of Fame. Read on to learn more about the 2022 WHLA Awards Program and submit your nominations today!

Recognition

​All winners will be honored at the 2022 Wisconsin Lodging Conference on Monday, November 7 at The Osthoff Resort. To ensure adequate recognition of each award winner, The Spirit of Hospitality and Wisconsin Lodging Hall of Fame awards will be presented during the Awards Luncheon, while the Associate, Corporate Champion and Innkeeper of the Year Awards will be presented during the Awards Dinner and Live Auction.

Call for Nominations

​All WHLA members are invited to submit nominations for one or more of the categories below. 

• Spirit of Hospitality: Honoring lodging employees who are exemplary role models of the true spirit of hospitality in Wisconsin. Up to 12 awards will be presented in 2022 with at least one winner representing a property of each category size (1-10, 11 -50, 51-200, 500+).
  Nominate a 2022 Spirit of Hospitality Recipient
  
  
• Innkeeper of the Year: This time honored award is presented to one individual, couple, or set of family members from a WHLA member property.
  Nominate a 2022 Innkeeper of the Year
  
  
• Corporate Champion of the Year: This award is presented to one individual at a management company or ownership group operating properties in Wisconsin.
  Nominate a 2022 Corporate Champion
  
  
• Associate of the Year: This award is presented to a WHLA Associate Member (person or company) who has a proven track record of exceptional quality service to Wisconsin’s lodging industry.
  Nominate a 2022 Associate of the Year
  
  
• Hall of Fame: This award category is intended to recognize industry leaders and pioneers who have contributed significantly to Wisconsin's lodging industry.
  Nominate a Hall of Fame Inductee
  

Eligibility Criteria

​Only current WHLA members are eligible to win WHLA awards. Past award recipients are not eligible for repeat awards. All nominees for the Associate, Corporate Champion and Innkeeper of the Year will be sent entry forms.

Judging

​Nominations and entry forms are judged and scored in confidence by the WHLA Awards Committee.
