Green Energy in Green County - Chalet Landhaus Inn

​The Chalet Landhaus, in New Glarus, WI, is pleased to announce that their solar photovoltaic system is now up and running and producing green energy! According to the property, it is the largest solar array on any home or business in Green County!

The array has 445 panels and is estimated to produce 225,000 KWh in the first year, offsetting nearly all the electricity consumed. The solar panels cover all 3 buildings at the hotel and truly is a sight to see! Soon guests will be able to track the energy production on a display board in the hotel lobby.

Along with new EV charging stations installed in 2022, the Chalet Landhaus is a true leader of green energy in Green County!
