HSMAI won an award for Stout Student Organization event of the year. The event was the Hospitality Mixer which the group hosted in Spring 2023 the night before the career conference.

​Recent Internship: Sales Intern at IDeaS Revenue Management in Bloomington, MN. 

Internship Responsibilities: Created a product that sales reps can use in their sales cycle to efficiently bring sales to a close. 

Internship Takeaways: “I learned how to effectively gain prospects and maintain those relationships as they become clients. I also learned how to stay in touch with the ever-changing hospitality industry and become a trailblazer."

WHLA Student Board Representative:

Bailey Jacque currently serves as the WHLA Student Board Representative. 

WHLA’s Board of Directors includes one non-voting student representative who serves in an advisory capacity to represent the interests of hospitality students in Wisconsin. While serving for one year, the student attends board meetings, advocates for the interest of student members, and shares WHLA events and scholarship information with other students pursuing degrees in hospitality.

Student Membership:

WHLA Student Membership is available to those actively enrolled, part-time or full-time, in an accredited two-year or four-year program with lodging components. Students are invited to join WHLA for $10/year. Find more information.
